We reintroduce a very high quality standard of care and support in the disability community as well as truly personalised support programs while maintaining the highest standard of privacy and confidentiality for our clients.
Our overall goal is to empower our clients to feel confident in their right to choice and control and to have the confidence in themselves and their support networks, to be able to not only reach current goals, but to grow and know that all goals are achievable - they may just look a little different or need to be achieved a little differently.
Aside from our passionate support for NDIS participants, we also take pride in supporting people with disability and mental wellbeing regardless of their access to funding to address their barriers.
We aim to support people within our community with obtaining the tools and knowledge to be able to see if there is a program of support they may not yet be linked with to access essential funding to assist with their barriers.
We also assist with achieving goals that may not be possible with conventional funding programs of support when needed.
As a not for profit incorporation, we gain great sense of purpose in giving back in a way that can truly change lives of our local community members where possible.
Psychosocial Recovery Coaching is a groundbreaking support for NDIS participants via both face to face and Telehealth, to assist with not only linking in with supports and therapies , but to be there for support and stability during the fluctuations that come with the complex combination of mental illness and disability.
Lets thrive not just survive aims to help clients all feel completely supported, empowered and confident with not only stepping outside their comfort zone to be able to grow and evolve but to be able to truly live their best life and THRIVE - regardless of the barriers they face.

Our certified LEGO®-Based Therapy program is designed for clients to “level up” in becoming more fluent and consistent communicators whilst working either individually or as a team to create amazing builds.
Each level has a set of communication criteria the participant is required to achieve before they move to the next level. Access to each level is a group decision and both the participants and facilitators decide if the participant has the necessary skills to graduate to the next level. This helps the participants be more cognisant of their team mates so they can all work together towards the same goal and celebrate their progress together.
We Have a wonderful team of external and independent allied health supports that we can refer our clients to including specialist allied health supports .
We understand that no two therapists are the same and what may work with one therapist , may not work with another.
It is important to be able to "Click" with your therapist so we endeavor to ensure our clients are matched and referred to therapists that are a genuine fit.
Lets Thrive Not Just Survive offers experienced and efficient workplace assessments , coaching and supports, allowing clients to be able to gain skills to enrich their lives with a sense of purpose and pride of either getting their first pay , or re- entering the workforce successfully and supported after either some time out or after re- skilling in a new workplace setting.
It was a struggle to feel "content" about the Gaps in support available for people with mental illness (health) and disability.
There are providers offering supports on what seems to be , every corner these days -
however the one trend that was being observed by Rachel Fisher - Founder of Lets thrive, not just survive incorporated was that there was limited personalisation to the supports being offered and limited services that focus on empowering and strengthening a participants confidence and voice.
After 14 years experience in the industry as well as being a parent to a child with disability also seeking quality , personalised services for her own son, Rachel knew that there had to be something that could be done to work to close the gap.
Rachel started seeing consistency in the fact that if People in the local community didn't have long term supports in place already , they were falling between the cracks because they didn't know where to turn to, and weren't able to access essential support to even get help with applications without either being on a wait list for years in the public system or first spending a large fortune on reports to private specialists to prove their barriers .
This means people who are vulnerable members of our community that deserve and require support , cannot access it unless they -
A) Know how to navigate the minefield of applying for funding for assistance.
B) Have the ability to sustain years of waiting on the public health system without support.
OR
C) Have thousands of dollars available to be able to pay for essential diagnosis reports to prove eligibility to funding and support..
Even when someone is able to access supports - as well as NDIS attempts to personalise support and interventions , sometimes there are going to be things that will make the world of difference but simply cant be covered by NDIS.
This Drove the passion of "Lets Thrive Not Just Survive Incorporated" Founder Rachel Fisher.
Rachel Takes immense pride in equal rights and ensuring no one gets left behind. With a "Lets make this happen" kind of attitude , we support members of our community that either don't fit in the complex criteria for funding or simply don't have access to reports or the ability to navigate the system to be able to apply for funding.
Whether it be a wheelchair for a participant who may have a short prognosis that doesn't have time to wait out the application process.
Or
An assistance dog to assist someone with company and confidence to allow themselves to be able to utilise the support they are already being funded but cant use yet.
Or
Assisting someone with sensory tools to be able to regulate in their home , school and public.
OR
Simply assisting someone with the funding required to get a diagnosis without waiting on the public health waitlist.
We want to be able to support our clients with "outside the box" supports and interventions that funding bodies decline because
we believe everyone is different therefore their needs need to be treated as such and can't possibly all fit into one simple checklist or basic criteria.
We cant help everyone in a vulnerable position but we can certainly start within our own community.
We gratefully accept support from local businesses, volunteers, local community members and organisations to accompany our applications for grants to support our mission.
